Euro 2024 Score Predictor

General Rules: Players can modify their predictions up until each game starts. Kick-off times are in GMT (+5) time zone

Players can modify their champion team prediction up until the start of the 37th match of the tournament, which is on 29th June 2024 2100hrs (GMT +5).

Scores entered as predictions are automatically saved.

If a player fails to enter the score before the kick-off, the option to enter the score will be greyed out, and no points will be awarded.

The knockout games are only populated with teams once the group stage winners are known and you can enter your predictions when the teams are known.

Players will automatically be added to the ‘Overall’ leaderboard when they register to the website.

Players can also create their own leagues from the Leaderboard page.

Players can also join leagues by entering the league code or using the link generated when the league is created.

Only players who are members of the private leagues will appear on that league leaderboard.

Predictor Rules: You will receive 3 points for a correct score. (e.g. your prediction is Germany 1-3 Scotland, and the actual score Germany 1-3 Scotland, therefore 3 points)

You will receive 1 point for a correct result. (e.g. your prediction is Germany 1-3 Scotland, and the actual score Germany 0-1 Scotland, therefore 1 point)

Your prediction for the knockout phase will include extra time, but not penalty shootouts.

If a game ends in a penalty shootout,

You will receive 3 points for a correct score (e.g. your prediction is Germany 1-1 Scotland, and the actual score after extra-time is also Germany 1-1 Scotland)

You will receive 1 point for a correct result (e.g. your prediction is Germany 1-1 Scotland, and the actual score after extra-time is Germany 2-2 Scotland)

You will receive 1 point for a correct winner (e.g. your prediction is Germany 1-3 Scotland, and the actual score is Scotland winning after penalty shootout)

You will receive 5 points if you have predicted the champion team correctly.

If two or more players finish level on points on the leaderboard, then the player with most correct score points will rank higher, followed by champion team predictor and correct result points.

Prize Money: First Place: The player who ranks first will receive a cash prize of MVR 2500.

Second Place: The player who ranks second will receive a cash prize of MVR 1500.

Third Place: The player who ranks third will receive a cash prize of MVR 500.

In the event of a tie within the top three rankings, the prize money allocated for the tied positions will be combined and divided amongst the tied players. This pooled amount will then be distributed equally among the tied participants, resulting in each receiving an equal share. Consequently, the subsequent ranking will reflect the tied players' positions, with any unallocated prize money adjusted accordingly.

Eg: If two people are tied for 1st place, the prize money for 1st and 2nd place will be combined and divided equally among the tied players. Now, since there are no longer separate prizes for 1st and 2nd place due to the tie, the next available prize is for 3rd place.

Please note that prizes are awarded only for the 'Overall' league, and private leagues created by members do not qualify for prize distribution.

Predictions
How do I enter my predictions?: Go to the Predictions page

At the top, you will be asked to predict the champion team.

Below, you will see all the matches sorted by dates. You can also filter the matches by groups and knockout rounds.

You can use the upward and downward arrows to enter the scores.
Do I have to put all my predictions in for the group stage all at once, or can I do it on a game by game basis?: You have the option to do it anyway you want. You can always amend the scores as much as you want up until the respective match starts.
Are my knockout predictions based on the normal time, or is extra time included?: Your predictions shall include extra time but do not include the penalty shootout score.
Can I change my champion team prediction?: Yes, you can change your winner prediction, but you only have until the 37th game of the tournament starts. This game starts on 29th June 2024 2100hrs (GMT +5).

Leagues
How do I create a league?: Go to the Leaderboard page

Click Create

Enter a name for your league. You can see the unique code given for the league which you can share with others
How do I join a league?: Go to the Leaderboard page

Click Join

Enter the league code

Alternatively, you can use the URL link generated when the league is created
How many players can join my league?: There is no limitation on how many players can join a league.
How many leagues can I be a member of?: There is no limitation on how many leagues you can join.
Is there a timeframe for joining or creating leagues?: No. You can join or create a league at any time.
